Happy Independence Day, India!

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36india-flag-jpg

On August 15, 1947, India became completely independent. The Indian flag was approved on July 22, and introduced to the Indian nation on August 15, 1947. It has three colors: saffron, white and green. Saffron represents courage, sacrifice and renunciation. White denotes truth and purity, and green stands for life, faith chivalry. The wheel in the center of the flag symbolizes unceasing motion and progress. Pray that the growing nation of India, composed of more than 1.1 billion people, will turn to Jesus as their Savior and follow His example of courage, truth, sacrifice, purity and faith.
