50 years of chants

bala hanuman (640x480) (2) (545x380)

The Bala Hanuman temple in Jamnagar, Gujarat, is famous for 50 years of ontinuous chants. The chanting of the mantra “Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram” started on 1 August 1964, and has continued for 24 hours a day, in shifts. This has earned the temple a place in the Guinness Book of World Records, but has accomplished nothing for the souls of those who chant.

Please pray for Hindu devotees who come from all over to join in this ritual.  Pray for dissatisfaction with rote repetition of the mantra, and for a longing in their heart to know the true Lord God.  Pray for Believers who have been prayerwalking in the area.  Pray that they will have opportunity to share, and will be bold in telling about Jesus.

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
