Ramadan

mboysRamadan is the name of the 9th month of the Islamic calendar. For this entire month, Muslims will celebrate the time when Muhammed wrote the Quran, the holy book of the Muslims. Every Muslim who is physically able will fast daily throughout the month, eating only after sundown. The fast is a part of the purification that is important during the month. For Muslims, this month is as important as Christmas is to followers of Christ.
Please pray for the Muslims of Gujarat this month. Pray that when they are hungry, they will also be filled with a spiritual hunger. Pray that as they are performing good deeds, the Holy Spirit will remind them that they cannot earn a way to Heaven. And pray that, as these people pray toward Allah the Spirit will lead them to pray to the one God, the one who can hear their prayers.
“I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me” Isaiah 46:9
