Diwali, celebrated in early November , is one of the most important religious celebrations in Gujarat. It is called ‘the Festival of Lights.’  Hindus will begin preparations for the holiday long before the celebrations begin.  They clean house and make sure their business records are straight. Marketplaces are filled with people searching for just the right clothes as well as gifts for friends and family.busy

Please pray for Gujaratis who are preparing for Diwali at this time.  Pray that as they fill their days with busy things, they will be unsettled in their hearts.  Pray that they will seek to know God.

Psalm 105:3  Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!
