Pilgrimage is not required in the Hindu religion, but still millions will make pilgrimage every year.  For over 2000 years, Hindus have been journeying to holy places, wanting to look upon the ‘god’ or seek a boon.  It is not unusual to see lines of pilgrims stretching for miles along the sides of the road in Gujarat, as they make a trek, filled with hope. pilgrimage

Pray for the pilgrims of Gujarat, as they make their journeys to temples and holy sites.  Pray that as they go, they will have seeking hearts.  Pray that, finding no answers in the temples or from the priests, they will be open to the word of Truth.  Pray that Believers along the pilgrimage path will be ready and able to share the glorious hope in Christ.  “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. But the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”  Matthew 7: 13-14
