Making idols

Isaiah 45:16 All of them are put to shame and confounded; the makers of idols go in confusion together.
All through the year, artisans craft idols of Ganesh, one of the most popular gods of Hinduism. The months leading up to Ganesh Chaturthi, however, are the busiest months for these artisans. During the festival (this year celebrated from 9-19 September) devotees of Ganesh will buy large idols to display in their homes. Idols will also be set up all around, in stores, parks, and specially erected pandals (shrines).
Pray for those who craft these idols. Pray that they will be convicted of the wrongness of their occupation. Pray that they will gain no joy from their work. Pray that God will reveal Himself to them and they will understand His glory.
