The shepherds

Psalm 23:1  The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.

The Rabari are Hindus of western India, whose primary job is herding cows and water buffalo. They regard Durga and Shiva as their supreme deities.  Rama, Ganesh, Shiva, Durgadevi and Hanuman are also worshipped as village deities. They are good at the traditional art of cloth embroidery. They marry within their community. Child marriage is common, however adult marriages are also performed through negotiation  Please pray for the Rabari of Gujarat

* For the salvation of the Rabari people.  Pray that these who shepherd all their lives will see their own need for the Good Shepherd
* For an end to child marriages and other social problems among the Rabari people.
* For children to be sent for education.
