Kashmavani Parva is an observation of forgiveness. On this day, Jains will first forgive themselves and then will approach family, friends, and coworkers and ask forgiveness for wrongs they have commited. This is to relieve themselves of the burden of sins of the previous year and to allow them to begin a year living with others in love and peace.
Pray for Jains in Gujarat as they observe Kashmavani Parva, as they recieve and bestow forgiveness. Pray that they will realize that they have no power to offer true forgiveness. Pray that they will see Jesus, the only one who has power to forgive sins.
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
