…you shall no more profane

“Thus says the Lord GOD: Go serve every one of you his idols, now and hereafter, if you will not listen to me; but my holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts and your idols.” Ezekial 20:39

In many homes and churches in Gujarat, idols of Jesus are worshiped much like the idols of their other gods. In homes, this is often because people know no difference. In churches it is because of a mixing of Christian beliefs with Hindu beliefs. The result is a confused people, with no understanding of who Jesus is or what makes Him special in the pantheon of Gods of India.
Please pray for the Spirit of God to open the hearts and minds of people to understand Him. Pray for church leaders to be bold and honest in teaching, even if it means that church members are not happy with what is taught. Pray for Believers to clean their homes of idols and to lead by example to unbelievers around them.
