A Well-watered Garden

“The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” – Isaiah 58:11

Here in Gujarat, it is easy to see where the well-watered gardens are. In the middle of a dry, dusty summer, they shine out like a beacon. It is not always so easy to discern who has a well-watered soul! Pray for Believers in Gujarat. Pray that they would stand out like a garden in the desert. Pray that they will allow God to so fill them that they are a beacon to those whose souls are parched. Pray that they will share the truth of Living Water to all around them who are dying without Jesus.

What beautiful imagery of our souls as gardens. I pray today not only for the unplanted, untended, and withered “gardens” in Gujarat but for those here in the states. Thank you for the prayer prompts!
