Hanuman Jayanti

Hanuman Jayanti is the birthday of Hanuman, the monkey god of Hinduism. Hanuman is a devotee of the god Rama, and is worshiped for his devotion to the god. He is a also a symbol of strength and energy. Stories about him give him almost superhero abilities. Hanuman is one of the most popular gods of Hinduism and people flock to his temples to worship him. Hanuman Jayanti, this year celebrated on April 18, is one of the more popular festivals in India.
Today pray for the people of Gujarat who will be worshiping and celebrating Hanuman. Pray that they will realize that he has no super powers, and most specifically has no power to help them or save them from their sins. Pray that they will come to know and recognize the only, true God.
Revelation 19:1 After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God”
